Established 20 years ago, BlueTek Computers has grown into one of the largest privately owned IT Companies in the North West Province.

Over the past 20 years our customer base has grown substantially and we service various market segments including Educational, Corporate, Financial, Industrial and Government. We currently have three branches in North-West:  headquarters in Potchefstroom and Vryburg and Mafikeng branches.  Our customer base is spread throughout the province which enables us to cover the whole of North-West efficiently.

At BlueTek Computers we build tailor made solutions according to each customer’s unique requirements.  We are serious about creating an exceptional customer experience and therefore we implement quality control measures to ensure service excellence.


Sales - We have two seperate sales divisions, each with a specific focus and approach to meet our customer's expectations:       

Retail Sales
This department focuses on the needs of consumers and smaller businesses. The sales usually consist of laptops, computers, peripherals, consumables and computer components.

Corporate Sales
This department has highly skilled professional sales executives, focusing on medium and large corporations, institutions, SITA & universities and offers a wide range of solutions. The solutions include servers, storage, desktops, laptops and networking products from vendors like HP, Fujitsu Siemens, Dell, IBM, Mecer, Proline, etc. We make sure that every corporate customers needs are met.  After sales service are of utmost importance to us and we ensure our technical support team are trained and skilled to provide the necessary service required. We offer a complete value-added service with our product offerings. BlueTek is also a SITA registered supplier.


Support - All support requests are handled by the company’s call centre.  The call centre escalates all enquiries accordingly to the workshop, remote support or schedules a callout if required.  This support service ensures a fast, hassle free and convenient service to all our customers.

Call Out Division
To ensure we can provide an on-site service we have a dedicated team of technicians, focusing on hardware, software, networking and server support.   These technicians are very competent and skilled individuals and they are empowered by attending various training courses, doing product and solution research as well as acquiring certifications for different specialities.

Workshop
This in-house repair centre consists of skilled, certified and trained technicians.  The main focus is ensuring all requests and needs for preparations and repairs are met.

Call Centre
State of the art technology is used in this department, such as online remote support through broadband internet as well as telephonic and e-mail support. This department offers hassle free and fast service to customers.

Distribution - This department is responsible for a variety of aspects. The most important must be the distribution of components and peripherals to institutions that have the facilities, infrastructure or their own IT and support departments.


BEE

BlueTek is aware of the importance of Black Economic Empowerment and the effect it will have on the future economy of South Africa, and on our ability to trade in the South African market.  Our initiatives are in line with the legislation as contained in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act No. 53 of 2003, and the DTI Codes of Good Practice.

We are now in a position to announce that we are rated as a Level 3 Contributor (110% Recognition level) towards Black Economic Empowerment.

We have formal training in system analysis and the integration and development of solutions. This enables us to develop the most cost effective solutions with the best ROI.
